Many of you may not realize that search engines give extra points for the number of links a site has (links that direct visitors to that site), when it ranks them in order from #1 to infinity. So, in the spirit of cooperation and mutual support that represents the best of the Web, here are some helpful links to sites I heartily recommend:
Fantasy/Science-Fiction and “Other-Wordly” Sites

For all things Dwarven, from MMOGs (“Massive Multiplayer Online Games”) and great artwork, to wonderful Tolkien-inspired fonts. A must for all serious “rock-chewers!”

One of the largest and best-organized sites, designed exclusively for Fantasy
and Sci-Fi art and stories. Worthy of a few months of cyber-wandering.
Writing Sites, Gathering Places and Resources

Say hello to your hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Steele (and Oscar and Atena), when
you visit the TreeHouse, a gathering place for writers and other “nuts.”

A great post-Greenlight website, devoted to fostering a community for all writers: novelists, screenwriters, short story creators - but no haikus, please!

The Writer's BBS Banner Exchange

One of the best sites for getting your screenplays noticed.
Sign up and receive their great weekly e-mailed newsletter.
www.wordplayer.com
Everything you need to learn how to write good, well-structured
screenplays. Save the Film School tuition and pour over this site!

An interesting site for uploading your own script. And they offer reading services, too.
www.projectgreenlight.com
The controversial contest (entries are closed, but the site will continue to stay up) and sponsored by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Chris Moore. Don't miss the chat boards!
Web Resources, Clip Art and Tutorials
www.eyeball-design.com
One of my favorites, with excellent Photoshop tutorials for some
outrageous navigation items. Can anyone say “Outstanding?”
www.boogiejack.com
Another good site, with plenty of free stuff and great training. Their
newsletter is always full of helpful facts and interesting personal tidbits.

More links coming - just give me time. And if you'd like to link back to me (always welcome),
use the image below, and link to http://www.michaeldelving.com. Much appreciated!
